1.Treat each person with the bhakti and care as if the success or failure of your own spiritual life depends on this. Do not take into concern how they treat you.The manner in which you treat people is the same way you treat Guru and Krishna.

2.Anytime that there is a problem in a relationship, you should first see it as your own fault. Even if others are to blame, you will only add to the problem by considering them to be at fault.

3.You should treat every person with whom you come in con-tact with the same care as the person you love the most.

4.As we associate with others in our spiritiual communities, we should do so in a mood that these are the people that I am living with and they will probably also be the people that I will leave this body with.

Faith can transmit Krishna Consciousness to the outside world. Faith is the halo of Radharani, the light of which allows others to understand Krishna. Sraddha means faith and that peculiar sort of substance is to be understood by us. What is that? It is not a mere abstraction. We are wakeful in this material world, but there are others that are completely awake in that plane of faith. This world of matter is underground; it is far away from their conception.

De zon schijnt! Wat een invloed heeft de zon wel niet op ons leven. Vandaag toen ik naar het werk ging en de zon scheen zo heerlijk warm op m’n gezicht, dacht ik aan de bovenstaande vers.

Vandaag best een productief dagje gehad. Een boekenkast in elkaar gezet, boodschappen gedaan, mridanga gespeeld, gekookt (bami & panir) en na lange tijd weer gephotoshopped. M’n broertje is hier ontzettend goed in en ik weet nog dat we samen vaak met Photoshop aan het klooien waren. Ik ben momenteel bezig met een nieuwe Theme voor onze kerkgenootschap. Die is immers hard aan vervanging toe…

Ik kwam een tijd terug een leuke tutorial tegen genaamd “Sparkling Hot Girl” in Photoshop. Een goede tutorial, al moest ik sommige dingen wel uitvissen vanwege het feit dat ik een nieuwere versie van Photoshop heb. Via school kan je namelijk geen oudere versies kopen en zit je altijd met een nieuwe versie en worden ‘vernieuwingen’ als het ware door je strot geduwd

Haridasa Thakura used to chant the holy name on his beads 300,000 times daily. Throughout the entire day and night, he would chant the sixteen names of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra. One should not, however, imitate Haridasa Thakura, for no one else can chant the holy name 300,000 times a day. Such chanting is for the mukta-purusa, or liberated soul. We can follow his example, however, by chanting sixteen rounds of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra on beads every day and offering respect to the tulasi plant. This is not at all difficult for anyone, and the process of chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra with a vow before the tulasi plant has such great spiritual potency that simply by doing this one can become spiritually strong.

Therefore we request the members of the Hare Krsna movement to follow Haridasa Thakura’s example rigidly. Chanting sixteen rounds does not take much time, nor is offering respects to the tulasi plant difficult. The process has immense spiritual potency. One should not miss this opportunity.
